Video Configuration
The Video Configuration page is where you upload content, manage your library, and assign specific video clips to MIDI notes.
Prerequisite: Ensure you are connected to your MVP and have access to the web interface. See [The User Interface (UI)] for instructions.
Click on the VIDEOS link on the left side bar to open the Video Configuration Page.

1. Global Video Settings
The top control bar contains settings that apply to the entire video playback system.

MIDI Channel: Selects which MIDI Channel (1-16) the MVP listens to for video triggers.
Note: The Video and Lighting MIDI channels cannot be assigned to the same number.
Video Mode: (only visible when BETA FEATURES is enabled)
Fast Trigger: The default playback mode.
Effects Mode: Provides MIDI CC access to eight different video effect properties.
Loop Mode:
Loop: The video repeats indefinitely until a new note is received.
Freeze: The video plays to the end and then freezes on the last frame. The last frame of the video will remain visible until the next video is triggered.
Blank: The video plays to the end and then goes black until the next video is triggered.
Default Video (On Boot): Choose a specific video to play automatically as soon as the MVP powers up. This is perfect for a "Logo Loop" or "Walk-in" visual.
Edit Mode (Toggle):
ON: Allows you to change settings and assignments, delete files, etc.
OFF: Locks the interface to prevent accidental changes during a live performance.
2 SYNC CHANGES Button
Anytime a change is made to any of the video settings or MIDI assignments, the SYNC CHANGES TO PLAYBACK button will appear.

Pressing this button will make your changes live, immediately. For example, if you assign a new video to a note, and then press the SYNC button, you can immediately trigger that new video.
3. Media Library & Uploads
The Right Sidebar is your content manager.

Supported Video Codecs and File Types
The MVP supports a wide range of modern video formats.
Video Codecs: H.264, H.265 (HEVC), MJPEG, VP8, VP9
File Extensions: .mp4, .mov, .mkv, .mjpeg
Still Images: .jpg (Images will display until a new note is received)
Resolution Limit: Up to 4K (30fps) or 1080p (60fps).
Upload Videos
You can add content to the MVP in two ways:
Drag & Drop: Drag video files from your computer directly onto the "Upload Videos" box.
Browse: Click the box to open your computer's file picker.
Once your uploads are complete, the video files will appear in the Unassigned Videos list.
Search Stock Videos
Click this blue button to access of over half a million royalty-free videos. You can search by keyword, preview clips, and download them directly to the device.
Requires an active Wi-Fi connection.
Check the Search Stock Videos section for instructions on finding and downloading stock videos.
Unassigned Videos
This list shows all video files currently stored on the MVP that are not assigned to a MIDI note.
Trash Icon: Click the trash can next to a file to permanently delete it from the device storage.
Free Space: The storage meter at the top of this section shows your remaining disk space.
Video Information: Click on any filename to view details.

4. The Video Grid (MIDI Map)
The main area of the screen displays 100 cards, corresponding to the 100 MIDI notes (0–99).

The Notes: Each card represents a specific MIDI note (e.g.,
MIDI: C#-2).Blackout: Note 0 (C-2) is always assigned to blackout. This will immediately stop video playback and the display will be all black
Assignment: To assign a video, click the dropdown arrow in a card and select a file from your library.
Active State: When a video is playing, its card pulses Green.
Removing: Click the X icon to unassign a video from that note. Note: This does not delete the file from the device; it only moves it back to the "Unassigned" list.
Video Information: Click the small filename at the bottom of any card to view details.
5. Video Slots (Banks)
The MVP features 5 independent memory banks called Slots (A through E). Each slot stores its own unique set of MIDI assignments, allowing you to manage multiple shows or setlists on a single device and switch between them instantly.
Accessing the Slots Menu
By default, the MVP uses Slot A. To access the menu:
Locate the Slot Name (e.g., "Main Show") next to the "Video Configuration" title at the top of the page.
Click the name to open the Slot Dropdown menu.

Managing Slots
Switching & Syncing: When you select a new slot from the list, a dialog box will appear giving you two options for how to handle the transition:

Sync to Playback: This immediately updates your MVP. All incoming MIDI notes will now trigger the videos assigned in the new slot right away.
Not Now (Background Editing): This loads the new slot into the UI for editing without interrupting the live show. The MVP will continue playing triggers from the previous slot (e.g., Slot A) while you arrange the files in the new slot (e.g., Slot B) in the background. You can sync the changes later when you are ready.
Advanced: Switching via MIDI CC
You can automate slot changes during a performance using your MIDI controller or DAW. Sending a specific CC Value on CC 119 will instantly load the corresponding bank.

Note: Slot changes via MIDI CC happen instantaneously, allowing for seamless transitions between different songs or show segments.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Video & Lighting Slots are Independent
Video and Lighting playback operate completely separately. Switching the Video Slot does NOT automatically switch the Lighting Slot (and vice versa).
When using CC 119 to automate slot changes, you must send the message on the correct MIDI Channel:
Send CC 119 on the Video MIDI Channel → Switches the Video Slot.
Send CC 119 on the Lighting MIDI Channel → Switches the Lighting Slot.
