Continuing the 4CAST mission of providing intuitive and powerful professional production tools, this release brings major enhancements to your show control capabilities. Version 1.3.1 introduces full SMPTE timecode synchronization alongside a built-in NLE timeline editor, expands your playback flexibility with new MIDI CC and USB keyboard triggering options, and delivers key UI improvements including a native Dark Mode, resumable file uploads, and a complete LCD display makeover.

Full SMPTE timecode synchronization with a built-in NLE timeline editor for frame-accurate show playback.
New Timeline Editor — Drag-and-drop media onto the timeline. Save up to 5 show configurations/slots.
LTC & MTC — Continuous sync and variable-speed tracking for DAWs, CDJs, and more.
New Triggering Options
MIDI CC Trigger Mode — Use MIDI CCs just like MIDI notes to trigger your media.
USB HID Keyboards — Use any standard USB keyboard or numpad and trigger your media with the press of a key.
UI Improvements
Dark mode — Full dark theme, now the default. Toggle in the app bar.
Resumable uploads — Large file uploads survive page navigation and connection drops.
LCD display makeover — The small screen now shows all connection states and details, and all real-time actions.

Bug Fix: SLOT Configuration: Resolved an issue where changing the active slot via MIDI and then editing a different slot in the UI could overwrite the active slot’s configuration.

New Features & Improvements
Free Stock Video Downloads: Search through half a million royalty-free stock videos, and download them directly to your MVP within seconds.
Expanded Cue Capacity: Now supports up to 500 video and lighting cue assignments (slots/banks), giving you far more flexibility for complex shows.
Name & Save Configurations: Save and recall labeled slot/bank configurations. Switch in the UI, or on the fly with MIDI CC.
More Video Formats Supported: Video Codecs include H.264 / H.265 / MJPEG / VP8 / VP9. Video Files include .mp4 .mov .mkv .webm.
Still Image Support: Upload and use JPEG images in your show.
Detailed Video File Info: Now shows video codec, file type, resolution, framerate, and duration.
Record DMX over USB‑C: Record DMX directly via USB‑C without the need for an Ethernet switch or extra cables.

Continuing the 4CAST mission of providing intuitive professional-level video and lighting production tools, this release expands ArtNET recording and playback to 16 universes, introduces a new Effects Mode for video playback controlled via MIDI CC, delivers a real-time Dashboard for device status, supports larger video uploads (up to 60 GB), adds flexible MIDI channel assignments, and includes performance improvements.
New Features
Beta Feature: Effects Mode: MIDI CC control of 4 color effects and 4 transformation effects. Enable via Settings Cog > Beta Features in the UI. Assign to knobs, faders, or DAW for detailed, timed effects. More effects to come in future updates. Note: 4K files are not supported in Effects Mode.
New Dashboard – Real-time Device Status: Includes "Currently Playing" clip name and playtime, real-time ArtNet viewer with all universe DMX data, WiFi/Ethernet connection status and IP details, HDMI connection status, display name, resolution, and framerate. Also features an Input Monitor for incoming MIDI notes and LTC timecode frames, and an MVP Version & Notification area showing available updates.
Lighting – Up to 16 Universes
Assignable MIDI Channels: Configurable, no longer locked to Channel 1 and 3.
Sync Changes to Playback Button: Immediately syncs changes to the playback engine.
Reactive UI Updates: Pages show which clip is currently playing.
Larger Video Uploads: Up to 60 GB per file.
UI Single Session Enforcement: Prevents conflicts when multiple tabs are open.

DMX/Artnet: Playback Timing Fix: Fixed a bug where ArtNet playback could drift out of sync over time. Note: DMX Clips recorded with v1.0.1 will no longer be playable and should be deleted/re-recorded.
Wi-Fi: Fixed issue with mixed mode WPA2/WPA3 connections.
Ethernet Connection Dialog: Now indicates when Ethernet cable is disconnected.
Register MVP Dialog: Registration now works over Ethernet connections.
